Instructions for use

Keproceril WSP is a complex drug. The combination of antibiotics and vitamins allows not only to treat, but also to prevent diseases that can be caused by pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microflora.

The important aspect is that the drug is easily applicable to both chickens and adult birds.

Chemical composition

The manufacturer presents the drug on the market as a water-soluble, homogeneous powder. 1 g means includes:

antibiotics:

• colistin sulfate - 225,000 IU;
• erythromycin thiocyanate - 35 mg;
• oxytetracycline hydrochloride - 50 mg;
• streptomycin sulfate 35 mg;

vitamins:

• vit A - 3,000 IU;
• vit D3 - 1,500 IU;
• vit E - 2 mg;
• vit K - 2 mg;
• vit B2 - 4 mg;
• vit B6 - 2 mg;
• vit B12 - 10 mcg;
• vitamin C - 20 mg;
• vit B1 - 2 mg;
• nicotinic acid - 20 mg;
• calcium pantothenate - 10 mg;
• inositol 1 mg.

The drug is indicated for feeding young animals with:

• salmonellosis;
• pasteurellosis;
• streptococcal and staphylococcal pathogens.

Method of application for chickens

The powder dissolves well in water and is given inside individually (to each chicken from a measuring vessel) or by a group method.

To prepare a drug for feeding young animals, proceed as follows:

1. Drinking bowls are freed from water and washed well;
2. A solution of keprocirol is prepared at the rate of 1 g per liter of drinking water (cold, not boiled);
3. The solution is poured into drinkers and installed in the house or cages;
4. Throughout the day, an already prepared solution is poured into the drinkers;
5. At the end of the day, all drinkers are emptied and washed out;
6. In the morning of the next day, a fresh solution is again prepared in the same concentration and poured into drinkers.

The course of treatment is 7 days.

Side effects

During the period of laboratory studies, side effects from the use of the drug were not detected. Individual intolerance to one or more of the components that make up the composition is quite likely.

Waiting periods

Antibiotics remain in the tissues of the bird's body for a long time. When applying watering, it should be noted that at least 3 weeks must pass from the moment of the last watering to the moment the poultry is slaughtered for meat. For 21 days, the active bases are completely decomposed and excreted from the body with urine and feces.

Storage recommendations

Until the drug is opened, the temperature requirements are from 2 ᵒC to 25 ᵒC.

After opening the package, it must be stored at the same temperature, but in a dark and inaccessible place for moisture.
